Barbarians



In a grizzly display of barbaric conquest, Dan Shaver and I smote six rabbits. I used a .420 shotgun and Dan used a .22 with a scope for the precision work. Then we peeled them open took their meat, and I have them in my refrigerator -the inside of a rabbit smells disturbing, and Dan wondered if that is what doctors smell in surgery. Probably. Anyways, I suppose I am going to try and eat these things somehow. Stew?

I'd love to kill some rabbits.
The other day, on Iron Chef, I saw a chef stuff a rabbit with two kinds of ham, wrap it in prosciutto, pan sear it and bake it. It looked delicious and I suggest you do the same thing. -- ST

I just saw survivor man skin a rabbit and then cook and eat all of it... the bones and guts. He did this because there is something called rabbit starvation.... rabbits are to lean. So be careful JOhn and mr shaver. I have to admit i looked away while he was skinning it.

I hope Jill and Danielle don't have to open their freezers and see meat that looks like a bunny hopping in mid air...I did.

Hey john this is the damn fourth time i am writing this message I SURE HOPE IT GOES THRU THIS TIME.Anyway i am proud that you went hunting,and that you guys got meat. you know they taste like chicken.ihope you like your .410 shot gun,we should go together before the end of the season. stew or catchetorie would be delicsh.
