Pearler Beads are tiny little plastic cylinders that you arrange on a board in a design and then melt with a piping hot iron. Tiny beads and hot irons, perfect for kids, right? Well, as it turns out, it is. Danielle does the ironing and Juneau is old enough not to eat the beads. Willow plays really patiently with them and Bear is a total freaking artist about them.

Bear saw some Nintendo characters in Etsy and that was all he needed. Since old-school Nintendo graphics are all low-res and pixely, they are perfect for pearler beads. Bear totally made these! Can you believe that?! Danielle gave him some grid paper to lay out his designs on and then he goes pearler bead nuts. I'm so proud of him. In fact, he and Danielle are out right now picking up more beads.
