The Hermans were in Mt. Pleasant and Farwell this weekend. They leave for Shanghai in June, so we didn't miss the chance to see them. Here is Hank giving us a briefing the boys his new vineyard (behind us, not pictured).

And the olders goofed around on the hammock.
Thursday night we went to a Driveby Truckers concert in Detroit with our friends the Shavers and Contis. So...loud. Lots of fun.
Anytime I ask Willow to pose for a picture she strikes some crazy askew stance.
Juneau doing a little bit of landscaping in the new sandbox. Danielle went to the landscape supply store with our trailer, showed them her contractor's card (which they gave her last year), and they filled it up for $8. Well done.
Willow got this costume from the Shaws. Amya picked it out, if the card is to be believed. She has had wands before, but with this one she really thinks it is a magic wand and doesn't understand why it doesn't do anything. She flicks her wrist and taps various items around the house -then after a second or two says confusedly, "it can't work."
