Hopefully the end of snow for this the coldest season I have ever been through. This last batch wasn't so bad because it was pretty great looking and also I see a light at the end of the winter tunnel.
Bear handed me another 4-Square lesson.
Bear and I engaged in some close combat in the yard. He was Yoda and I was Darth Maul. On the whole, we both performed admirably.
Later on at the Shaver's, Bear read to the ladies.

Kadence is fishing at Grandma and Grandpa's house on Pine Island. She is able to get her line into the canal from right where you see her because Hurricane Charlie took off their west-facing wall -exposing the prime water view that can be reached with the cast of a child's fishing line. There is a convenience balance, of course, as the missing wall does expose the rest of the house to the elements and whatever animals might wander in, BUT, Kadence can fish right from inside the room when she likes. Give and take.
