It Feels Like Spring

It's like 70 degrees today and sunny and I just can't believe it. We thought that winter would never end. Ever. Danielle and I got out of the house and played around the yard.

I broke off all of the widow-maker dead branches from our trees so none of us get clocked by a sharp branch screaming down from 70 feet.

Bear got his first lesson with a Jack Knife. I drove home Burt's two points of Jack Knife safety from my childhood:
  • Always cut away from yourself
  • Never cut toward yourself

Willow waddled around and enjoyed the space and freedom.

Here is Danielle going some lawn cleanup. She is 4 months pregnant and you can start to see a little baby popping out.

Later on, trying out a go-cart at Tractor Supply.

Hey John, does Dan's advice about using a Jacknife also apply to chainsaws? Just wondering.

....as though the jack knife wasn't enough!!!....but go-carts, too!!! (SO glad I'm use to John bein g way up in the trees.) Just glad there were some safety rules in mind. I like both of them. I think that's Willow's sweater from Gymboree. She looks like she LOVES the outdoor freedom!
