I remember being freaked out after watching "Elvis is still alive" shows.... The shows made it seem that Elvis was still alive and sitings were reported all over the US. He was out there, we just don't know where!!!! HE COULD BE ANYWHERE!!!! So, I would go to bed and picture this guy popping out of my closet..."Hey, is the coast clear?! Is anybody looking???!!!"
John used to be a little weary that the Hulk would come out of the TV!!! He was finally helped one day after seeing the Mr. Roger's video of Lou Ferrigno going through the make up process of becoming the Hulk... Which we are watching right now!!!

I can confirm that. When David Banner would start to turn, John would bound up the stairs and sit on the top step, so that just in case he did come out of the t.v., he would have a bit of a head start.
This was also the same time period that I love playing tag with John because he thought he had to follow my exact steps when chasing me. I would run around a piece of furniture and be standing right behind him and he would turn around and look at me, while running round the same piece of furniture. By then I had a great lead (I had to cheat, he was fast enough to actually catch me if I didn't!)...........c.
grandpa Charles was very mad at us for allowing the kids to watch the Hulk after he wittnessed Johns fear. We had our Friday night chips and dip and whatever pop. 8:00 TV show was on. We figured he would out grow it...
This is a little similar to Mary Tait's story...When I was about 2 1/2 or 3 I decided my sister Crystal could use some freshening up so I spritzed her with my mom's perfume and it went into her little 1 year old eyes. After I got in trouble my parents couldn't find me for a long time and it was because I hid under my bed to cry and feel asleep there.
