Really Interesting Stuff. Like, REALLY Interesting.

Bear and I went to the season opener for the prestigious Lansing Lugnuts minor league baseball team. It coincided with "Thirsty Thursday". We'd never been to a Thursday game before, when beer is cheep; they ought to call it "Drunk MSU Thursday." See how tame the crowd is in the picture? By the fifth inning it was a frat party. Anyways it wasn't so bad and we had a lot of fun together. There was fireworks, too.


On a related note, Kevin and Cheryl gave us maple syrup from their trees. It totally rules. Here we are on our second batch. Thanks, guys.

Hey guys! I was on the Etsy front page!!!!! Last month I had 400 views on my shop and could not figure out how. I just found the answer, one of my items was featured on the Etsy front page! Holy moly.

Seriously

We got 5-7 inches of wet snow accumulation last night. Yeah, that just happened. At 5:00 this morning Danielle and I woke up to a big bang and then the power went out. I thought it was a nuke, of course. Maybe it was a tree hitting a house? Maybe a big transformer explosion?

In any case, Cheryl, who lives an hour north of here, got nothing -which is not right. If there were only some way that I could transfer unfortunate things that happen to me to Cheryl. That would rule.

Famous

We were on a walk yesterday at our friends the Shavers' house when I took this picture of Willow flopping around in a field. It turned out to look a lot like "Christina's World" by Andrew Wyeth -only funnier.

Cousins

Carol made these dresses. I sent Carol a picture of Willow wearing this today, then she sent one back of Amya who also happened to be wearing one of Carol's dresses. Same shirt, too.
