The other day we rented "Yes Man" with Jim Carrey. I give it an 8 on the pH scale (0=worst movie ever, 7=neutral, 14=holy crap call everyone you know and insist they see this).
It was pretty funny but I liked it the first time when it was called "Along Came Polly."

The Wait...
I just bought a couple books off of amazon this morning that I've been looking at for a while. I checked all the local libraries, found some of the books I wanted checked out and on hold forever at some of the libraries in the city of lansing and decided to go for it. $26 later, I am anxiously waiting for the mail. Maybe early next week?!The first book is about root cellaring, something i am going to need to know a bit about if i am going to continue this garden obsession and not waste to fruits of this labor. We conveniently are sitting on top of a huge root cellar as we speak. A few tweaks to our michigan basement and it is a very convenient pantry. It was probably intended as such when built in 1909.
The second is a book on growing food year round, and the author lives in my climate zone (5), which is very convenient for me.
The third purchase is a 12' x 7' greenhouse that I found on ebay. $63 plus shipping. Monday is the estimated arrival date. I will be looking for the perfect location in our yard until then, and maybe a bit beyond. Cheryl's greenhouse was just too large a temptation not to mimic. After spilling my seed trays 2 times within five minutes, i realized i needed a greenhouse. If i am going to go through the trouble of seed-saving and heirloom collecting, i better have a way to grow them.
