It begins...

So, this morning i heard willow and got out of bed. I took a detour to the bathroom before attending to her, and then heard her voice mysteriously getting closer and clearer. I peeked my head out and she was walking around in the hallway.....she had climbed out of bed!!!!!!

Trick or Treat!

Here is Bear assembling his helmet at the school Halloween parade.

What the heck is Halloween?

Bear, as Commander Fox, busts a move.

Juneau was along for the ride and seemed fine with it all.

Willow rocked out in the mini-moonwalk. She got some pretty sweet air.
Here she is working on her short game. She is about to get a two stroke penaly for illegally re-positioning the ball in play. Also pictured is our good friend, Mark Ritchie -as Chuck from the popular television series of the same name.

Willow took to the idea of panhandling for candy pretty readily. Danielle and I are a little unnerved every halloween when we train our kids to approach the houses of strangers and ask for candy. Yikes, now that's spookey!

The haul. Bear and Willow's combined earnings were enough to ensure many sugar commas in the coming year.

The Practical Engineer

This morning I walked into the kitchen where Danielle was chopping onions. When she turned, I saw this.

Halloween '08

  • Willow got to wear one of Juneau's daipers while daiper shopping at Walmart, which had to be taped around the waist.
  • We got to see Bear in a parade of elaborately costumed school kids, he was a red trooper, commander Fox.
  • John's co-workers struggle to identify his shaggy costume, due to a cultural divide. Later John posed as Darth Vader, and I slacked on the Amadala costume, so settled for a japanese butterfly with leiah hair.
  • Willow has her first official trick or treating experience, with the help of her big bro. She was Princess leiah dressed as a care bear.
  • Bear collects hugest mountain of candy ever collected in one night by a single human being
  • Juneau has first official smile about the whole experience, he was dressed as yoda
  • And then we all fell into a heavy sleep after a long fun day.
  • Pictures to be posted shortly.....

Angela... the future Taylor

I found one of my best highschool friends on Facebook today, and she looks like a future Taylor to me... Warning, Cheryl and Kevin!!!! She was always very popular with the gentlemen, but to her credit, handled it very well and respectably... as i am sure your beauty will as well.

7 2/7 weeks old

It seems wierd that people have a beginning.
This one begun a little over seven weeks ago.
Its already strange to me that he was not here a few weeks ago,
yet it is also strange it has already been almost two months.

Don't eat the PIRATE COINS!!!

Sherwood brand Pirate's Gold Milk Chocolate coins are being recalled due to the fact that they contain MELAMINE!!!!
This is the ingredient in Chinese milk products
that has caused so many infant deaths in China .
These candies are sold at Costco, as well as many bulk and dollar stores.
Please make sure to check your children's Halloween candy
DO NOT LET THEM EAT THE PIRATE COINS !!!!!
(you know the ones wrapped in the shiny gold foil)
and please let other parents know about this!
