Wild Monkies

Whoever invented these chairs is a genius. When our kids are jammed into it they remind me of those super fat cats that can sit up by themselves.

Camera Discovery

Apparently our computer can record video clips. We didn't know it and then we did. Here is documentation of the very moment of that discovery...

Monkeyball

An admittedly pretty boring video that relatives may find cute.

Muskegon Mania

Some pics from the annual winter family gala held in the basement of the Olivet Evangelical Free Church in Muskegon.

Remote Cartoons

Here is a snapshot of Amya watching cartoons with Bear over Skype. There was a real Bear sitting there and a laptop with a virtual Amya. The Shaws were not completely unpacked and Amya was getting a cartoon fix.

Crap I Like

I like kicking wheel wells in the winter and seeing the huge chunks of dirty snow pack dislodge and fall off. Very gratifying.

Cheater Presents

Bear and Willow each got to open an early present this morning, Christmas Eve. Willow, when terrified, can move fast.

Old School with some Old Fools

Aunt Page posted these pictures to her photo album today. Obviously, they are great examples of exemplary kids on their best behavior. Very good looking, too.
I must say, it was wierd for me to do red-eye removal from pictures 28 years after they were taken. Oh my gosh those are good looking kids...

Unmatched awesomeness in the grass of 352 W. Pickard, summer of 1980, Champion Fleet t-shirt and all.
That is the first and last time Cheryl had tried making a face to be "goofy." And she still has that top.
See Carol? She isn't making a face...she just looked like that until she was 26.
See me looking confusedly at my groin? I still do that.

Bryce practicing his innocent face; Cheryl practicing smiling.

See that freaky ridge in my skull? I just felt and I still have it. So does Bear.
See that bored look on Cheryl? She still has that, too.
