Herbs beginning to grow, veggies garden in rear just completed yesterday. Dean totally built 3/4 of these squares!!!! Thanks Uncle Dean!
Veggie Garden... Beets, carrots, watermelon, arugula, spinach, lettuce, garlic, shallots, zucchini, squash, baby bear sunflowers (bear's pick), chickory (perennial green), raspberries and some ornamentals. And peas... i forgot about the peas.
Jerusalem Artichokes on the left, beginning to emerge (grown from grocery store), and red bud trees and peppermint on right.
More veggies: Tomatoes, eggplant, peppers (early jalepeno, super chili and red, yellow and green bell peppers), pumpkin, and some perennial greens in back (rhubarb, sorrel and horseradish)The gardens are full, the seeds are watered and mulched, now we water and wait.
I am officially out of garden space, have to find another location for my perennial edible seeds that just came in the mail. (Good King Henry seeds, Scorzonera seeds, Lily white seakale seeds (backorder), French sorrel seeds, Lovage seeds and Flax seeds)
