Willow seemed to dig it. She would have rather had her own bike. Also, that coat she is wearing is baby deer fur.
The desire to see how long your tire skid trail can be is universal to all boys. I did it, as did my father before me. Grandpa Charles, though, was a boy just six years before bikes were invented but I bet he would have liked it too had they been around.

It was especially pleasing to slam on the brakes on pavement with just a bit of gravel, which allowed for the always-impressive circles and half circles.
