Baby carrot surprise

"After harvesting, the carrots are washed in chlorinated water, just like our drinking water, and cleaned to remove dirt and mud. Some finished baby carrots are washed, or dipped, by a further chlorine solution to prevent white blushing once in the store"

I don't think i like the idea of eating bleachy carrots, chlorine can't be healthy to ingest....can it? Just a thought. Can you tell by the packaging which ones have extra bleach, or not? Man....now i have to peel my own!!!

I swim at the YMCA quite a bit, and I assume I ingest quite a lot of chlorine while doing so. I feel fine.

You swim at the YMCA? Cool.
I peal a lot of my carrots. They are much cheaper that way. But I do buy the other kind. hmm?
