Bear had his first basketball practice/game this morning (Saturday at 9:00 AM!! Why??). He is on the "Nets." Here he is applying some aggressive defense. He surprised me; he was way into it and zipped all over the place.
So far his philosophy is that passing carries with it an unacceptable risk of turnover, so he just goes ahead and shoots it no matter what. We'll work on that.
In the meantime, I overheard Danielle very sweetly ask Willow, "Willow, do you like KITTIES?" When I looked over I saw Danielle fiercely bite the head off of an animal cracker.

And so it begins -- attending sporting events. I can't wait to go to my kids' games and such. Or, if they decide to join the glee club, their concerts. Jason
