The other day at Barnes and Noble, Danielle was standing near the exit with her face buried in a book. An older well-dressed couple was leaving and something they had with them set off the alarm. They embarrassedly stood there waiting for an employee to come over. After a long while Danielle dropped the book from her face slowly and said in a somber tone...
"You have proven yourself to be trustworthy. You are free to go."
They looked confused and hesitated and Danielle repeated in a more urgent tone...
"You're free! Go!!"
And they smiled wide and goofily walked out of the store.
