This past Sunday we went to Ford Field to watch the Detroit Lions, a team of very highly paid professional football athletes, play against the Chicago Bears, a team of very highly paid and slightly more successful professional football athletes.
Lots o fun. Dean found us tickets in the 15th row, which was pretty awesome. We ate tons of really healthy crap.
We stood up by the railing and watched the teams warm up up close.
I'd say the proportion of Bears fans was about even with Lions fans. Really, about 50-50. And I sat next to the biggest Bears fan I know and he was pretty happy that they, not surprisingly, won -which made me happy even though I was rooting for Detroit.
