1: A Norman Rockwell painting called "A Day in the Life of a Boy." I used to stare at this thing for hours as a kid. Anyways, check out the TV-watching part. I drew a copy of it a long time ago.
2: But especially Forrest Gump. Forrest and his boy meet for the first time and hit it off, aided by their mutual interest in Bert and Ernie. They sit, too closely, by the TV and cock their heads in unison. He really is the father!
