Willow took her first step today. We don't know if we should count it or not, but a step is a step i think. I mean, I'm not signing her up for any marathons or anything. She needs at least 6 good months train, i'm not crazy....
Listen Willow. I found the key to my success in walking comes from two basic principles: 1) Although it feels natural, you must use the entire foot, not just the tippy toes, for this provides balance and stamina; 2) Give yourself goals: in your head think, "I'm just going to make it to that table so I can grab my sippy cup." Then once there, determine your next goal, maybe: "Now I will go to that chair, where I left my crackers."
Using these simple steps, Willow -- and others trying to master walking: Maisy, The Unborn Dan and Kim Tait baby, and those who may be overly intoxicated -- will prove successful. -- SRT
